Course Memo
The emphasis for this course is on the role and elements of evidence-based practice (EBP) in
professional nursing practice. The focus is on the cyclical process of identifying clinical questions,
searching and appraising the evidence, and implementing practice changes. Examination of a
personally derived clinical question and conduction of the process of EBP will facilitate the connection
between research and nursing practice. Prerequisites: N480, N481.
