DNP-ADULT/GERO ACUTE CARE NP (POST MAST)

Description

Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners provide care for patients during a life-threatening event or illness, often in a fast pace environment such as the emergency room or intensive care unit.  Patients range in age from older adolescents to the elderly.  

Post-master's certificate programs are available for MSN/DNP graduates who would like to extend their knowledge, skills, and competencies in a field outside that completed during their graduate degree studies. The programs are designed for the part-time student.

Graduates will be eligible to take national certification exams and apply for state licensure as an advanced practice nurse.
