PMC-Clinical Nurse Leader

Description

The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) post-master's certificate prepares a generalist who already has a masters degree to oversee the care coordination of a distinct group of patients and provide direct patient care in complex situations. The curriculum builds upon the AACN (2008) Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice and the AACN (2007) Working Paper on the Role of the Clinical Nurse Leader ™ competencies.

The program is designed for the part-time student, and graduates will be eligible to take national certification exams.
