POST-MAST CERT ADULT/GERO ACUTE CARE NP

Description

The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner curriculum is based upon the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner core courses, with added focus on acute care specialty courses and acute care practicum. One aspect of the program at Saint Anthony College of Nursing that sets it apart from other schools is the acute care diagnostics and therapeutics course, with 100 clinical hours in radiology, pharmacotherapeutics, nutritional support and pulmonary critical care.

Post-master's certificate programs are available for MSN/DNP graduates who would like to extend their knowledge, skills, and competencies in a field outside that completed during their graduate degree studies. The programs are designed for the part-time student.

Graduates will be eligible to take national certification exams and apply for state licensure as an advanced practice nurse.
